problem in iptabel with 2.4.7
i have redhat 7.2 with 2.4.7 kernel and i want set traffic shaping on that but on mangle i only have output and prerouting and i put traffic shaping on that and also do nat and only it work between 2 computer and it dont work for internet i mean i cant do the shaping for internet but user can work with the internet without traffic controler

...and besides that please FIRST update your like stone age old kernel (look for "Fedora Legacy" and check if they still support RHL 7.x).

AFAIK almost everything not graphics intensive should run.
If you want to stay with RHL look at http://www.fedoralegacy.org/updates/RH7.3/

Current 2.4 kernel is 2.4.32... Why the heck run ancient rh7.2...
Install a more current distro (yes they will run on that hardware)...
Or maybe smoothwall... Depends on what you want to do...
I can't tell what that is from the unclear posts to be honest...
