Prevent a specific filetype from being created?
 

Hey all,

Had kind of a general question here. Is there a way to prevent a specific filetype from being created in a folder based on the user? It's a bit of a long story on how this came up in the first place, but what we'd like to do is prevent any files of .pyc extensions from being created, but still allow the user to have write access to the folder for other files. Is this something that is possible? This would be on Fedora systems (1-3 potentially).
