Hi,

I have installed portsentry-2.0b1 on my system. I followed the following steps to install.
1. make linux
2. make install
and when I run /usr/local/psionic/portsentry2/portsentry -atcp
I get the following messages in my /var/log/messages

Can you please tell me what is wrong?

Dunno. Spose it's gotta do with dependancies. Does it need libnet/libpcap? Maybe run it tru strace like "strace -f -ff -F -v -o /tmp/ps2_error.log /usr/local/psionic/portsentry2/portsentry -atcp". Then open up /tmp/ps2_error.log and look for errors (note the "-1 ENO" stuff after the equal sign), else rip out the hostname and any excess iterations and post the scrubbed version here if it ain't too long.
