port 6000, how to close it?

hi guys, can you tell how to close port 6000 (X11) on my system
I tried
startx -nolisten tcp
it wouldn't help.
It's not that I am that paranoid, but I better keep a curioius eye off my system.
any ideas?

The args to startx are somewhat convoluted. Try:

startx -- -nolisten tcp
