plz help (server security )
i want to persue my career in the filed of systemadmin.i have worked on linux but still consider myself as a newbie..i m just a student of engg .. my problem is , i want to setup server in my college where number of clients can upload there data on the server,each client having a disk quota, i thought about ltsp but the number of nodes is large round about 50,and the data to be kept is also large as images from the grapics designer is large, size of music files is large,so did'nt find the sloution gud. i need this becuase it happend lot of time to us that we forget which content is on which person computer .. could u plz help me in defing the architecture for such a server, ie if i have got 50 clints how much hard disk i would need,what r cpu mem req, how can i maintain security such as authentication, or what security issues r to be dealt with(firewall only would be gud or some extra security such as iptables filters etc).....kindly help, i would be highly oblized
