pkill ssh

I made the wonderful mistake of running 'pkill ssh' as root. The only access I have to this machine is remote, and of course telnet, ftp, etc. are turned off since ssh was turned on.

Is there a way for me to get back into this machine?

hmm, not a great move. There should be no way back in at all, and ultimately you should be a little happy that you've no way back in, as if you knew a way, someone else may well do too. If you had webmin running then you could restart a service that way, but unless you explicity know of something that's running (of which there *could* be many many many different services) then no, you're out cold.

Thank you!

I am having the machine power cycled ... that should allow me back in since I think ssh auto starts at that point.

I'll remember this fun, fun mistake
