Permissions for manipulating CUPS print queue
I have recently deployed two Linux print servers. Currently, each system has two accounts: root & printer. I'm connecting my Windows clients connect to it using Windows LPR (not Samba). I am using Mandrake 10.1. However, the users cannot manipulate the print queue (ie stop printers, cancel jobs, etc) on the Linux box unless they are root.
What are the groups I need to place "printer" in to allow printer management, but not give the account too much power? Thanks! |
Does ANYONE know how to do this?
