Periodic password change

Back when I was in college there was a PAM module configured that required periodic changes on the local system accounts used for SSH access. I would really like to find something that provides similar functionality but I have had a heck of a time tracking anything down that performs this function. Any suggestions?

Are you sure it isn't just proper use of 'chage' "max days"?

unSpawn that looks promising. The module they were using might have been to enforce stricter password requirements and this is how they set up the change policy.

Applying chage on the existing users and editing /etc/logins.def did the trick. Thanks.
