Non-kerberos telnet server
 

Hi,

I just installed latest Redhat distribution and wanted to use Telnet server. I created a new user. I modified xinetd configuration to enable the telnetd server.

But when I telnet, I get errors about KDC realms. It seems like my server is trying to contact a kerberos domain controller to authenticate (even if I start the server -e none option). How do make my Linux machine only authenticate locally and not with some remote domain controller? Especially, I do not want to use any kerberos or ssh.
