need help with ipcop install
I am trying to connect a static ip address that has a dsl paradyne modem to the Red interface. I've compared to the mac address to the red interface address so i know I got the right card. I set it up as static entered the ip, network mask and gateway. But I still get network unreachable. Any help would be appreciated. I tried to go to the IPCOP support forums like ipcops.com and netingretity.com but it seems they've gotten owned.
Thanks,
Homer

when you log into your ipcop box through ssh or something, run "route -n" and "ifconfig" to see the state of the network. is your red interface even up? do you need to authenticate with the modem?

The red is up. I really think it's a problem with the setup and the modem. If I hook this up to a cable modem it works. I'm just lost with the static ip and the dsl ethernet modem. The dsl modem works fine with my redhat 8 server. I copied the gateway and mask exactly from there.
