Need Advise on /etc/securetty hardenning

Hi All,

I need to implement this in the /etc/security

Code:

User root can use only following ttys for login in file /etc/securetty: [console; tty1]

Please guide me.

Yep, very simple for an RHCE. :) Read the manpages and view the actual file.

I was basically concerned over the implication of this enforcement. If someone can advise any side effect of this, it would be highly appreciated.
