msn with ipchains


I need to allow msn for some Ip n my LAN, but i can't do that!!!!!
II try to open port 1863 but nothing, i don't now what can i do!!!!!!!!
Please help me.

Please try searching Linuxquestions.org for terms like "block msn" and have a ton of results to help you accomplish this. Be warned tho MSN doesn't only use an application specific port but, like some peer to peer applications do, will try other ports like TCP/80 to access it's hub servers.
