McAfee Virus scan v4.7 installation problem

Hi,

I'm trying to install and run McAfee Virus scan v4.7. After extacting files from archive:

root@MICE:/home/mice/downloads/soft# ./install-uvscan
Do you want a link to uvscan placed in /usr/local/bin [y]/n y
./install-uvscan: line 320: /usr/local/uvscan/uvscan: No such file or directory

but in fact it IS on /usr/local/uvscan/ , here is list:

root@MICE:/usr/local/uvscan# ls -la
total 3161
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 384 2005-03-04 11:23 ./
drwxr-xr-x 18 root root 440 2005-03-04 10:26 ../
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 236605 2005-03-04 11:23 clean.dat
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 1056 2005-03-04 11:23 license.dat
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 17873 2005-03-04 11:23 license.txt
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 55474 2005-03-04 11:23 messages.dat
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 244895 2005-03-04 11:23 names.dat
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 27129 2005-03-04 11:23 readme.txt
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 47060 2005-03-04 11:23 reseller.txt
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 1294654 2005-03-04 11:23 scan.dat
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 3479 2005-03-04 11:23 uninstall-uvscan*
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 487150 2005-03-04 11:23 unx47uag.pdf
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 802195 2005-03-04 11:23 uvscan*

starting it manually gives the same result.

Dist: Slackware 10
Kernel: 2.4.26

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Not to be a master of the obvious, but does the filename actually end in a * (like uvscan*) or did you add that on (and it's really just uvscan)?
