Mandrake - how to stop a service?

I would like to stop a few services that I don't need but can't find wheer to do it. Control Center doesn't provide the full list of running services. Another thing is I don't know all the exact names of them, is there a file with a list somewhere or something?

thanks

You can use webmin (if you installed it): https://yourmachine:10000

The control center should have most of them listed:
Mandrake Control Center --> System --> Services

To find out what is currently running, you can type:
ps -aux | more

I'm sure there are others, but those are the easiest that I can come up with off the top of my head.
