Luks/Encryption after install

Is it possible to encrypt my hard drive after a Centos load? Do I need to reinstall?

Yes.
Certainly easiest.

Way too many variables:
- the entire disk ?.
- separate boot partition ?
- UEFI ?
- LVM ?
- CentOS version ?.
...

Caveat: I know nothing about how to encrypt drives.

The last place I worked would set up and configure a new laptop (Windows 7) and then start the whole disk encryption process.
...but syg00’s questions are still valid...and I’d add
Hardware?
HDD or SDD?

Hope this is not snarky of me to repeat:
