Luks/Encryption after install
Is it possible to encrypt my hard drive after a Centos load? Do I need to reinstall?

Yes.
Certainly easiest. Way too many variables: - the entire disk ?. - separate boot partition ? - UEFI ? - LVM ? - CentOS version ?. ... Most of us aren't mind readers. |
Caveat: I know nothing about how to encrypt drives.
The last place I worked would set up and configure a new laptop (Windows 7) and then start the whole disk encryption process. ...but syg00’s questions are still valid...and I’d add Hardware? HDD or SDD? |
