Login Credentials

Hey Guys!

Hope you are all doing good!

As you know it's not good to have shared login credentials with someone. I'm looking for a free Linux solution to be used to store these data (personally and corporate) - I'm using Keeypass for my personal data, but it's windows based. I need something to be installed on CentOS or Fedora, and it will be very useful to have a web interface.

Appreciate your input and help.

Thank you.

There is KeePassX: https://www.keepassx.org/ which can work with KeePass's files.

Ask your package manager. I have no experience with CentOS, but since CentOS is an older RedHat development line, "yum" should do it:

Code:
yum install keepassx
(As root)

See here also KeepassX at GitHub

Bruce Schneier created an open-source tool called PasswdSafe, which is similar. (I did have unexpected problems moving files from Windows to an Android phone. The file was corrupted, with a list-of-entries that was somehow disconnected from the corresponding entry data. Never did figure that one out.)

Much like your other threads, where you're essentially asking us to look things up for you:

...and tell us things like "Not of your business!", and "Will not even read your reply!", why should we assist? And since you're using Keepass, did you bother looking at their website, where they tell you about keepassX, which runs on Linux??? You've been here four years now, say you're an RHCE (and a Linux instructor, no less), and can't manage to do any research on your own, and haven't read the "Question Guidelines" as you've been told to many times (even by Jeremy, once...).

You read their documentation and follow it. Should be easy for an 'RHCE' instructor...
