Locking the Screen??

Besides the screen lock that comes with KDE, is there another tool for locking the screen on a redhat 9 linux box?? Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks!

There's a package called xscreensaver that offers a non-KDE way to lock X-Windows.
You can also switch to a virtual terminal with ctrl+alt+f1, login, and lock the whole keyboard and monitor using
Code:
vlock --all
.

There's also a package called xlockmore, which has some of the funkiest screensavers Install it and try "xlock -mode ifs" for example.
(I'm not familiar with xscreensaver - perhaps this is another name for the same package).
