Linux virus scanner

I want to automate virus scanning for FTP uploads so I'm looking for some command line tools that I can run against files after they are uploaded to the server. Does anyone have any recommendations?

clamav is probably the most popular free (as in freedom) virus scanner:

or are you asking for a script that you can use to run the scanner??

Check for basic command line options used with Calmav and AVG.
