Linux behind ISA cgi script is causing error
Hello everyone,
I am new to Linux and have a problem with a Linux box that I am managing. It is running RH7.3 with Apache hosting a site. The linux box is behind an ISA server. Everything works fine except the execution of a script is reporting a hack attempt from the firewall. The maintainers of the script say "that when they instruct their secure server to post an ADD request , the
myscript.cgi script we uploaded to your cgi-bin records it as a hack attempt from IP address 192.168.1.1. This means that the firewall is preventing the needed data from getting through."
I need some help trying to diagnose this problem. The cgi bin and apache are all configured using pretty standard procedures from apache.org. The script executes fine, I am thinking is a firewall issue since the ISA swaps the IP of source OR the Linux box is not allow a POST or script execution from other than localhost.
Thanks for your help.
Chris
