linking rc.firewall
guys.. isnt that rc.firewall from /etc/rc.d is linked in (i think) /etc/ppp ?
the question is, how can i make the link? wat should i do?
isnt that after a successful link, rc.firewall should be like this:
rc.firewall@
hoping for your help..

Wait a second, what exactly you want to link with? Which file to wich filename? If you want to check the link list it via 'ls -l' and it will show you the path.

solution
ok here is the answwer to the thread..
since rc.firewall should be linked to /etc/ppp/firewall-standalone,
all you have to do is create a symbolic link from /etc/rc.d (where the rc.firewall will be created) that is to be connected to /etc/ppp/...
1. to do this, go to /etc/rc.d
2. type :
ln /etc/ppp/firewall-standalone /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall (enter)
presto! after typing ls, ur rc.firewall@ will be created..
i hope i made it clear..
