limit new userid with no shell to access particular folder only

Hi All,

I need to create a userid on redhat ent 4 with access to sftp but limit the access to a particular folder. The userid has no shell.

Is this possible?

Remember the OS has privilege on /etc for other to view files like /etc/passwd. Can that be locked down too?

Thanks for any comment you may add.

If the user is limited to ftp "only" I dont see a way he could access other files.
If there is some other access available you might want to tell us that.
