Question Lids + Fc5 = Help

BASICALLY:

I'm trying to get LIDS (LIDS Secure Linux System) Working on Fedora Core 5.

Im Currently running 2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 But Lids only goes up to 2.6.14.

They also do a 2.4.30 Version.

Can i get Kernel Version 2.6.14 working on my Computer under FC5 Without stuff buggering up?

Because (i think?) moving to 2.4.30 might mess with some other things :/

(This is pretty much an out of the box FC5 Installation)

Any help would be ...awesome

Thanks.
