Question keyboard controls

Help! I am new to LINUX and I am setting up a Point of Sale Terminal an application using LINUX and need to disable certain keys (this is one of the many security measures we are using to "idiot proof" the application before it goes into our stores).

The users access a web application under Xwin with Netscape as their browser. How can I do this?

Thanks!

I think you should start off by disabling spawnage/using of VC's by editing /etc/inittab, this way they end up with nothing when dropping out of X, but you would still need a simple cronjob (or something in .Xdefault(-clients)/.xinitrc the way some WM's use an xterm to fall back on) IMO to detect dropping out of X and restarting it within say, 60 secs. Also check inittab for the 3-finger-salute :-] Then you could modify a keymap and edit out the F keys and backspace, and load it (on boot/X?)

HTH somehow, bit dense, I know I know :-]
