Is there something like Norton Antivirus for Linux.?
 
Hi folks,
I havn't heared about any anti virus for Linux.. So is there not any virus needed for Linux or there are some software(anti virus) exist? If yes there are then please suggest me one so that I can keep my system more secure..

If you search the forum you will find many, many topics covering that very topic. Short answer: yes, there are AntiVirus programs for Linux. Is Linux vulnerable to viruses? Unlikely. Anyhow, search via the link above. :)

It's better to secure your system with a firewall, SELinux and a good root kit checker (www.chkrootkit.org)

If you absolutly want an antivirus, take a look at ClamAV (www.clamav.net)...
