Question Is Linux less acceptable to DDos attacks than windows?

I was wondering about this for a long time. How Linux respond to a DDos attack vs windows. And it is less likely to get offline while having a ddos attack. I'm running a minecraft server soon and they get prone to ddos attack a lot.

Please tell me

The point of a DDoS attack is to flood the target's public-facing ports (usually port 80). The underlying OS really doesn't matter.
