Iptables rule for file transfer

In my network there is a file server. I want to allow the clients to copy only specific file types to that server. Is there any iptables rule to allow only specific file types to be copied from client computers to the file server?

no, it's not possible, iptables doesn't work at that level, it's not an appropriate solution, if it was possible at all.

First off though, if you're going to ask a question like this, you need to actually specify what protocol you're talking about.. cifs? nfs? sftp? ftp? http?
