IPSEC VPN Problem
Hi all,
Currently I am working on some project of securing linux networking in which I found IPSEC VPN a secured method for establishing a secured connection over unsecured internet network. This secure connection may be between two offices of the same organization at remote places who want to share their data using a secure connection over the internet. I have tried to search a lot and found many data online still I am not able to configure IPSEC VPN using freeswan. Has any body tried this ? I am also aware of other methods of secure tunneling like ssl vpn - open vpn and other implementations of the same kind. I wanted to use IPSEC VPN only !!! I am initially making the connection between two local hosts using a cross cable which connects the ethernet cards of both the pcs. On this I would like to first of all establish the secure connection. Is there anybody out who can guide me regarding to this ? I have googled a lot on this so I want help of a guy who has practically implemented it. I have also searched previous threads but not found any satisfactory answers !!! May be somewhere wrong in asking the question please don't mind. Nirav Thanx in advance  |
What has your barrier to success been? Where are you getting stumped? When I did it, the FreeS/WAN documentation was easy as pie to follow.
