IpCop updates

Dear members,

I have a problem. I took over the management of a IpCOP FW. There were 9 updates/fixes to be applied. I took the IPcop backup and applied all the fixes.
I checked the web site served on the external address (RED an ADSL connection) of the IPCop and it worked. Following day I found the web site page was refused by the FW. I could ping to the IP or DN of the web site but the web page is refused. Now I have restored to the pre-patch image and the page is served. I am planning to apply the fixes one by one. Does anyone know nay configurations affected by these patches?

Thanks
Santha

All the patches should be visible at page along with a brief description of what each one does.

It sounds like your port forwarding rule for http was wiped out by one of the patches. Go into the port forwarding section and write down all the current settings, then apply all the patches and go back to the port forwarding section to see which rules you have to recreate.

Chort,
I did check the description of each patch but nothing metion about port forwarding or http. Anyhow I did the comparision of port forwarding rules bofre and after ( took the print out ) and they are same. I haven't compared the IPTables output I will do that when I put the FW to the post patch image.

Thnaks for your hint.
