ipcop firewall
 
hi all ..how can i use IPcop firewall..

bcz when i m doing anything it is using there own default file .

like if i am using port forwording ,,then it is going to write in /var/ipcop/portfw/config.

i was thinking that it will be in iptables rule ..

and if i want to my rule for firewalll how will i do ,,

Please help

you can add firewall rules in /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall.local. most other stuff you can do through the web interface, as Oliv said. point your browser to e.g., https://192.168.1.1:445 (or ip of your router) and log in.

hi i am agree with slack hack and oliv ..

my point is this that in IP Cop web interface .
there are three options Portfw ,Externel Acc,Firewall option ,
if i am using portfw what ever i am addign it is going on in /var/ipcop/portfw/config.

why it is not going to be write in iptable or rc.firewall.local..

i think it would have to be written in the iptables. what ports are you trying to forward?

ok,
means using GUI we can not use iptable or firewall rule..
