Interesting Security Strategy

In Microsoft's Windows server 2003 Active Directory Training Kit by Walter Glenn Chapter 6 page 17 entitled DNS Security, an interesting statement exists which underscores Microsofts security strategy as a whole. "any system is vunerable to attack. If a system is connected to the Internet, that vulnerability will be greatly increased. Hence, adhering to the guidelines in this section does not guarantee your network will be safe from intruders. Rather, these guidelines will make it more difficult for the attacker to penetrate your network, and hopefully will steer the intruder to systems that have little or no security implemented" .

So they tell you to do this so that an attacker will give up and hack a less secure windows box?

Red face

Great M$ marks the spot again ) well how about newly bought Giant Anti-Spyware which turned out to mark IE as spyware and delete it also there were statements from Mozzila users : "I wanted to remove IE for so long (me too actually), I can't believe M$ did that for me, 10x"
