insecure script question

I get very frustrated having to type su - and my password all the time i need to do something that requires root priveldges. Would it be insecure or not good practice to write a script that includes su - and my passord so i can just type one word to login as root?

If you are doing the same things as su all the time, why don't you give yourself permission with sudoer? It would save all the logging in as su.
