ifriends webcam help (newbie)

I am a computer tech with no experience in Linux

I purchased 3 different routers for a client to share DSL with 2 PCs. With the routers hooked up they were unable to get there webcam to feed live video on the ifriends "thing". We forwarded ALL ports with the same result.

I spoke with a computer tech friend who told me to use SNF and a PC as a router. I haven't installed it yet, but would apreciate any help as to what I should do to make this router work for my customer.

Thanks

Question First things first

try to to take the router out of the picture first. Try connecting the machines directly to the internet and then get ifriends to work then try it afterwards and notice where it fails first and get back and tell us the results.

Did that

I can't see where it fails. It just works without router, and doesn't work with.

What happens is the ifriends software seems to generate an IP that begins with 64. With the router in the picture, the ifriends software deosn't generate that 64 IP. It's a drop down menu box with 2 IPs. One being the current one (I guess) and the other being the one ifriends wants the user to select in order to send the video.

I am kind of new to all this IP stuff, though I have much experince with computers otherwise.

Therefore, I don't know what to look for.

Thank you in advance for any help given
