I Have A Very Desperate Question!!!

hey, i'm having a problem. this guy in my class,(age 14) he's my friend, he went into my C drive while i was on AIM(AOL instant messenger) and took a gif file and showed it to me. I know him personaly and I KNOW he cant hack. He doesn't know ANY computer languages. He also did this with others in the class. HOW THE **** DID HE DO THIS!!!(he just went into my C DRIVE and took a picture, it took him a fairl short time to do it, like 15 minutes while we were online)

There is a known security problem with AIM (fixed a few days ago), he might have been exploiting this (with a script written by somebody else).

Try using gaim instead of aim... and switching to Linux of course.

More likely he got your IP via AIM then looked at what you had shared. Open "my computer" right click C and un select shared.
Anyway whats this question doing on a Linux site?

Goto www.grc.com and the shields up/ port scan toy will tell you if you've got any major problems.
Trojan is a good point, get scanning!
