hping3 -i u1 -S -p 80 [IP ADDRESS]

Use that for a SYN flood test. "man hping3" for a complete overview of the arguments and explanations.

EDIT: You can also use hping3 --faster -S [IP]

NOTE: Malicious use of SYN flooding is illegal. I am not condoning illegal activity; you mentioned about testing your server, which is fine.

thank you for your reply it was really good for sync attack simulation but what about if I want to request a page from web server not just sending sync request or database server or other services or ports?

Now you are being greedy... I went borderline almost crossing the rules and regulations of this forum already. Please read up on the man page for any other information.
