How to revert the permissions set on chmod as a root user
 
Hi,

Can any body help me to revert the permissions set on chmod as a root user. Means that i have set chmod 000 /bin/chmod now I am unable to set permission on any file or folder.

Boot a live CD and chmod it from there?

Do you have access to boot the box with a rescue CD/DVD? If so, just re-boot and use the chmod on the rescue CD to change the permissions on your installed version. You should also be able to reinstall the package that contains the chmod binary.
