How to restrict flashplayer for users without uninstall

Hi,

I'm using Suse 10 with FreeNX (Terminalserver) and i like to disable flashplayer and java for users because that keeps the internet performance good for other users. I don't want moving pictures on internet-sites!

Changing permission on flash, is that the answere?

Please help me!

THANKS!!!!!!!

1. You can disable Java in the browser.
2. You can uninstall flashplayer or change the read permissions.

uninstalling the flash and java plugins would be your best option IMHO... why don't you wanna do that?? anyways, if you really don't wanna uninstall them (because perhaps you want to give the users the choice of using them if they need them for something important) there's always noscript, which you can configure to block all java and flash unless the users specifically request to enable them for a certain page...
