How to patch slackware 9.1


hey guys, I am running slackware linux 9.1 and am curious to know how do I work out what security patches I need and where do i get them from .. any help would be great .. thanks

You can use the command

Code:
upgradepkg new-package.tgz
and you can find the patched packages at

..../pub/slackware/9.1/patches/packages

directory or a similar one.. For example, look at the link mentioning about libpng flaw..

yeah.......u can use swaret to update ur current packages......
but that'll be annoying....coz u need to do it manually.....guest...
everyday u need to patch around 5 or more updates.......use cronjob...
will do this work automatically........just tell it to run the swaret at what times u may prefer......
also u need to change swaret.conf....put CURRENT...
