Hi All,
i'm implementing a corporate proxy with squid. I need no caching feature but just proxying all corporate users through my squid cluster. Proxy will be explicit and won't work in transparent mode.

I want to achieve the following goals:

- let authenticated users in AD to surf without user/pass request (no popup, so perform a transparent authentication)

- for any other users i want to show a popup when the user has to insert user/pass provided by helpdesk team

- https inspection

Could you suggest me how to achieve them?

thanks pan but i'm not so expert and that guide it seems to be a little bit confused in my opinion.

so then please explain what caused that confusion

i'd like to receive some configuration example, what extra packages i should install, etc....
