How to hack sudo to become root

Hi, I got the problem with the sudo. I already in the sudo list but I have no permission to sudo su , so that Is there anywhere I can break the sudo without root password to become root?

Your help is appreciated and thanks

Not to imply anything, but do you know the root password? sudo cannot, AFAIK, be "hacked" (I use the term loosely) to not prompt for a root password without editing the actual program - remember, this is AFAIK and is in no way definitive.

If you cannot sudo su, it means that you're not allowed to by your admin.
As simple as that.

If it's your own machine read the sudo manpage and edit the sudo configfile (with visudo mind you) properly.

This is in no way related to security by the way, the software forum is more appropiate.

From what your implying, you are not root on this machine and your trying to break into this machine to gain access that clearly wasn't given to you for a reason.

If this is your machine however, read the man page and edit your sudoers file to give your user account the proper access, if not, well, don't ask others to perform illegal activities for you which is clearly against our rules on this site.

Unless there's a flaw in (your version of) sudo: no.

Thread closed for reasons Tricky stated. Linuxquestions dot org does not condone, aid or encourage in illegal activities.
