how to convert pem-certificate?


hi forum,
a little tired of searching around I have a surely simple question.hope someone can help.
how can I convert a .pem-certificate to a X.509-cert (.cer, .crt) to import in IE?

ps: I have a .pem-cert and a .pem-keyfile

ok, converted it to .p12!
import in IE was fine, but seems not to work!?

What doesn't work? what do you try and what is the result? is the hostname configured right?

ok seems I found the prob. I imported it automatically under "own certificates", but outlook has a problem with this.it seems to work when I import it as a trusted root certification!!??

If it is a self signed certificate, it is its own root certifier.

Therefore you need to import the key as a root certification authority.
