How to control multiple logging by users in FC4

Hi Everybody,

My boss suddenly fell ill and I have to manage a mail server running in FC4 with postfix configured by him. If I want to control multiple logging in by users with ssh what I have to do?

Logins are written to /var/run/utmp. If you want to deny one user logging in multiple times could use PAM_script or similar to query (w) and deny. You could also set maxlogins in /etc/security/limits.conf to 1. This doesn't allow one but two SSH logins but compared to ten or more logins that may be a tradeoff you could live with. Another way could be to only allow SSH though Xinetd and use the per_source directive to limit connections per source address.
