Question How to Block music ports

I am trying to block the music ports used by kazaa, winamp, audiogalaxy. etc. (also the port used by yahoo and msn messanger)

I'd like to know the port numbers that I need to close.

Thank you!

Lo there and welcome to LQ.

Sorry to cut it short this way but you better search the /networking forum. A few people have posted there some threads/references in the last 3 months about how to block P2P and IM connections by port number and server address, should be fast and failry easy to find.

If you can't find it there, plz do ask again.
