How to allow login via specific port via https


Hi Good Day to all,

i am quite new to linux security, i have just setup a new mail server running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4ES (postfix MTA).

Also allowing only https connection via webmail (squirrelmail).

My questions is:-
1) How can i allow connection to the webmail via specific port.

Currently:- https://www.linuxforum.com
I wanted to make it to connect only at :- https://www.linuxforum.com:55500


Please advice

change the port number apache listens on,

edit the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file

find "Listen 80" change it to "Listen 81" or 55000
