Cosmicb, you've received some suggestions here about things you can do to reduce the risk of being compromised, and to increase the possibilities of detecting a compromise if one were to happen. Perhaps you could update us on how you're coming along with those suggestions? Which have you tried? Do they suffice? What progress have you made? Anything you need additional help with?
As for a specific security incident, we like to deal strictly with facts, so unless you can provide technical details/evidence of what you consider to have been a cyber attack, there really isn't much we can help you with. That said, if you do wish to get help responding to an incident, please start a dedicated thread for that matter.
Sorry to have bothered you folks.. I didn't mean to upset anyone.. seems I was in a turmoil trying to come up with a solution to the constant remote viewing attacks I've been plagued with almost daily for 30-years.. I didn't realize that was my goal, till tonight, when I opted to erase all my science memories and closet memories, down to 7-years old, so there wouldn't be any need for the brain-suckers to pester me so... Their scanning always brought up all my hurty closet memories into the for front all at once, daily, like it all happened yesterday.. I just couldn't take it any more.. Find someone else to restore your dying planet! I'm done.. I erased and destroyed the scientist I was... Sorry, but it was my only option to stop the daily persistent attacks and induced migraines... I'm sorry I'm not what you wanted and expected... Have a nice extinction humanity...
I do so love this Fedora.. It's the best thing that ever happened to my computer... Thank you for Fedora...
In topic "computer security".. I'm working on all your brilliant suggestions.. I thank you for your lovely kindness and advice.. I'll get out of your faces now.. Sorry to have been such a pest...
Remote viewing? Induced migraines? Restoring the planet? Cosmicb, I warned you before about going down this road. Seriously, computer-related troubles should be the least of your concerns right now, given your current mental state. Please talk to a friend or counselor about what's on your mind ASAP. There is treatment available for these types of conditions, which will allow you to carry on with a happy, productive life. Really, take care of yourself first, GNU/Linux (and LQ) will still be here when you're feeling better. I hope you get well soon, Cosmicb.
I'm putting an end to this thread now, for obvious reasons.
