How do I password protect ~/public_html on the web?
I'm running Ubuntu Dapper Drake, I have apache2 installed and a directory in ~/public_html with a simple website.
All I need is that when the directory is accessed through the web (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/folder/) the user will need to enter a username and a password or just a password.
Can I do that using apache or do I need some script?
