hide username when logging in

Hi All,

I am using Centos 4.4 with KDE 3.3 and I would like to not have the username displayed or masked when logging in. Is this possible? Thanks

Jon

Could you be a bit more specific? Do you mean hide the username in the command line terminal (so it wouldn't show [jonfa@your_computer ~]$)? Or do you mean hide the username from appearing in the system logs as having logged onto the the system?

When logging into a KDE session.

When a user needs to logon to a computer I'd like to be able to hide both the username and password as they type it.
