help: luks auto-unlock via usb flashdrive Centos7


good day masters, may I ask for your help.
I have this issue with making the flashdrive to be the vessel or keyholder for luks passphrase key and make the machine unlock automatically.
there's so many tutorials out there but i can't make it happen. also i'm a beginner at linux. any comment will be greatfull..

This is a potentially very complex undertaking - especially for a self-confessed "beginner at linux". No-one can help without (a lot) more information on you current setup, what you have tried (with links to web pages), and what happened. For example, but not limited to:
- are your filesystems(s) currently encrypted ?
- which filesystems ?
- what does your crypttab look like ?
- have you regenerated initramfs and updated grub (if /) ?
...

I note there is still an open bug against Fedora for systemd not recognising a keyfile in initramfs - may affect CentOS as well (I don't know). If so, it would frustrate all your efforts.
