Hardware real time encryption/decryption in Linux...

Hello.

I know of someone that uses a 'Hardware' pcmcia device for the government that encrypts data in real time but it's with Windows.

Is there a hardware device available for a laptop that will encrypt/decrypt
all your data in real time that will operate with Linux?
