hacked?


my friend keeps telling me he got my password and logged into root but he won't tell me what the password is so i don't believe him. how do i check my logs to see who's logged in recently?

Use the last command. It lists recent logins.

You could also check /var/log/secure to see who's been su'ing to who and when.

It sounds like your friend is pulling your leg. If you're worried, change your root password.
