I have recently compiled nessus 2.0.10 in a fedora core box. I then ran the nessusd in Daemon mode using nessusd -D. But when i type nessus at the command line i get the message
opps ..this nessus version has no gui support?
so which version of nessus has gui built in?
another problem i get is when running it thru command line ..it complains somethhing bout some scans being left out by default. Is there a guide on how to customise the nessusrc??? and where can i get the list of plugins??
yes i actually looked through the FAQ on nessus as my 1st option for a suitable soluition. I have gtk1.2 and gtk+-devel installed on my box and i ran the ./configure for the nessus-core without specifying gtk-disable. But the problem still persist. So i was thinking that maybe the FAQ on nessus.org may be refering to an older build.
I had the same problem. After I got the messages you mentioned I tried to run from command line and nessus replied with . Nesus version has no gui support. Need to give nessus the arguments server port login trg result. This is why I want the gui so that I don't have to put all this jiz jaz in.
